Free dental treatment – is your child eligible for CBDS?
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a government initiative that covers all or part of basic dental services for children under 18 years old, to the value of $1,052 across two consecutive years. CDBS supports parents of all backgrounds to provide their children with quality dental care at Limitless Dental. We believe in building a foundation for great dental habits as soon as your little ones pop their first teeth – give us a call on 9569 8091, we’re available to check your child’s eligibility!
Who is eligible?
Your child is eligible for CDBS if all of the following apply:
- They’re aged 0-17 years old
- They’re eligible for Medicare
- You or your child receive an eligible Australian Government payment such as: Family Tax Benefit A, Parenting Payment, Youth Allowance etc
What does it cover?
At Limitless Dental, we’re able to provide the following services at no additional cost to you under CDBS:
- Check-ups
- X-rays
- Cleaning
- Fissure sealing
- Fillings
- Root canals
- Extractions
Unfortunately, orthodontic or cosmetic dental work are not eligible under CDBS, however we have payment plan options available should you wish to proceed with treatment for your child.
What’s the process?
One of our dentists will examine your child and make you aware of all applicable treatment costs upfront – you’ll need to sign a consent form before we can proceed with treatment. There are no waitlists for CDBS at Limitless Dental – just give our friendly team a call on 9569 8091 or drop in to book an appointment for your little one.
